Mondo engineered their unique Dual Durometer premium rubber flooring system based on market demands within the healthcare & education environments. Through the vulcanization process, two layers of virgin rubber are molecularly bonded under strict guidelines from ISO 9001-14001 manufacturing protocols. Each of the two layers is designed to perform specific functions to create a high-performance floor and long-term asset.
UNDERFOOT COMFORT
Mondo’s engineers incorporated the best elements of their Olympic sport surfaces into a high-performance flooring solution. As a result, Mondo flooring offers better comfort underfoot while maintaining excellent resistance to static and rolling loads. With anti-fatigue properties, Mondo flooring helps to make all users more comfortable during their day by reducing leg and back pain from standing on hard surfaces.
ACOUSTIC COMFORT
Mondo’s Dual Durometer technology also provides flooring with better acoustic absorption levels. This will reduce the ambient noise level and will keep sounds from rebounding and traveling throughout hallways and rooms. As high levels of noise are proven to increase stress levels and create distractions, an optimal learning environment would logically seek to control acoustics. Mondo’s standard 3mm products carry the highest level of sound absorption in the resilient industry: 14dB and up to 21dB when using our X-Elastic acoustical backing.
